China World Hotel Bejing Welcomes New Hotel Manager

China World Hotel, Beijing announces the appointment of Marcus Bauder as hotel manager. Mr. Bauder will assist the general manager with the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
Before coming to Beijing, Mr. Bauder was resident manager of Shangri?La Hotel, Tokyo. Prior to this, he was the director of food andbeverage at Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei. Before joining Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, he worked in Europe and the Middle East in such luxury hotels as the Corinthia hotels in Prague and Tripoli, and the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
Mr. Bauder is from Germany and has almost 15 years of experience in the art of hospitality, especially in food and beverage and revenue management. He holds a degree in hotel management from Albrecht-Duerer Schule in Duesseldorf, Germany, as well as a master’s certificate in food service management and a certificate in financial management, both from Cornell School in the United States.
