Prestigious Tri-nations Wine Challenge Debuts at the Langham, Yangtze Boutique, Shanghai

The Tri Nations Wine Challenge, which features award winning wines from South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, will be held for the first time in Shanghai in an exclusive dinner event hosted by The Langham, Yangtze Boutique, Shanghai on Tuesday 12October 2010.
Traditionally held in Sydney, Australia this wine challenge is the only global wine competition where entries are selected by invitation only. The entries, featuring 350 premium wines, will be tasted and appraised by world renowned wine experts that include Michael Fridjhon of South Africa, Huon Hooke of Australia and Bob Campbell of New Zealand.
For this year’s Tri Nations Wine Challenge at The Langham some 80 wines will be flown to Shanghai for presentation at the event.
On Tuesday, 12 October, the hotel’s Grand Ballroom will be the setting of the Tri Nations Degustration Wine Dinner. For the evening six trophy wines will be paired with a six-course gourmet menu priced at RMB588 + 15% service charge per person. A limited number of seats are available for the wine dinner.
Judith Kennedy, president of the Tri Nations Wine Challenge will personally welcome guests and introduce the competing labels in both the dinner and wine tasting events.
