BEIJING, September, 2010 – SportAccord held their official banquet at Swissôtel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center on 31 August, 2010.

The first SportAccord Combat Games 2010 was held in Beijing from 28 August to 4 September 2010, the competition will showcase 13 Martial Arts and Combat sports, both Olympic and non-Olympic. The banquet was chaired by Mr. Verbruggen, Chairman of the SportAccord International Sports Federation to thank the efforts which given by governmental officials of the city of Beijing. Among the participants of the banquet were Mr. Liu Qi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, and Mr. Guo Jinlong, mayor of the city of Beijing and other officials.

Chairman Mr. Hein Verbruggen expressed the appreciation to the Beijing Municipality for its strong support of the SportAccord Combat Games 2010 before the banquet.
